Position Overview

Red Diamond Freight is hiring CDL A Owner Operators in Dunn, TX for South Texas frac sand hauling operations. This opportunity is for owner operators running power-only units hauling sand to oilfield locations throughout South Texas.

Drivers can expect dedicated freight, weekly pay, semi-local routes, and steady oilfield work supporting active drilling and completions operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Haul frac sand to well sites and oilfield customer locations in South Texas
• Operate safely in oilfield and highway driving environments
• Follow dispatch schedules and customer delivery requirements
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
• Maintain compliance with DOT and oilfield safety regulations
• Secure and inspect trailers and hauling equipment before transport
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and field personnel
• Maintain required PPE and site-specific safety compliance

Pay & Schedule

• Gross weekly revenue averaging approximately $5,000 – $8,000
• Paid weekly
• 88% of load revenue
• Semi-local oilfield hauling routes
• Approximately 100 – 700 miles per week
• Home at least 3 weekends per month

Equipment Information

• Hopper bottom trailers available through weekly rental program
• Power-only owner operators accepted
• Owner-provided trailers must meet required height specifications
• Truck age limit: maximum 10 years old
• No overdimensional trucks permitted

Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required
• Minimum 6 months tractor trailer experience required
• PEC Safeland certification required
• H2S certification required
• Must own tractor (power-only setup)
• Strong safety awareness and dependable work history required
