Position Overview

Red Diamond Freight is seeking experienced CDL A Owner Operators near Crawford, TX for West Texas oilfield frac sand hauling operations. This power-only opportunity offers dedicated freight, weekly pay, and semi-local routes servicing active drilling and completions projects across West Texas.

Drivers will transport frac sand to well sites using hopper bottom trailers while supporting oilfield operations throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Haul frac sand to drilling and completion sites in West Texas
• Operate safely on highways, lease roads, and oilfield locations
• Transport loads within approximately a 10–110 mile operating radius
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractors and equipment
• Follow DOT, customer, and oilfield safety requirements
• Maintain communication with dispatch and field personnel
• Complete required load paperwork and operational documentation
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced oilfield transportation environment

Pay & Schedule

• Gross weekly revenue averaging approximately $6,000 – $7,500
• Paid weekly
• 88% of load revenue paid to owner operators
• Semi-local oilfield hauling routes
• Dedicated freight opportunities
• Typical rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
• Home at least 2 weekends per month

Equipment Information

• Power-only owner operators accepted
• Hopper bottom trailers available through weekly rental program
• Maximum truck age: 10 years
• No overdimensional trucks permitted

Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required
• Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience required
• Must own tractor (power-only setup)
• PEC Safeland certification required
• Strong commitment to safety and oilfield compliance
