PrideStaff is currently seeking a CPA Senior Accountant for , a company located in South Los Angeles, CA. Please see job requirements below to be considered. <ul><li>Salary: <strong> $120,000 to 150,000 (Negotiable based on experience)</strong><li>Shift: M-F <strong>8am to 5pm </strong></ul><strong>The </strong>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Senior Accountant will provide a range of accounting services, including preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Their duties involve advising clients or businesses on financial planning, tax strategies, and risk management, as well as overseeing internal controls and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. CPAs often work in public accounting, corporate finance, or government roles, offering expertise in areas like taxation, auditing, and consulting. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and laws are essential for success in this role, as CPAs play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic financial decisions.<br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Active CPA License <li>Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related field required; <li>An experienced leader and financial executive with ten years managing the accounting department in a recycling plant or similar environment.<li>Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and various accounting programs..<li>A high sense of urgency, strength of conviction, a level head, and a desire to work closely as a partner with the other senior members of the company’s management team.<li>Demonstrated strong business background; strong analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically and act tactically; ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously with little or no direction; ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment; strong influencing skills; ability to interface internally and externally to ensure successful, high-quality outcomes.</ul>Duties / Responsibilities <ul><li>Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.<li>Report to management regarding the finances of the establishment.<li>Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.<li>Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems using current computer technology.<li>Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.<li>Maintain or examine the records of government agencies.<li>Advise clients in compensation, employee health care benefits, accounting or data processing systems, or long-range tax or estate plans.<li>Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs.<li>Provide internal and external auditing services for businesses or individuals.<li>Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.</ul> <ul><li>401k (Company matches up to 4%)<li>Excellent Medical and Dental Insurance Benefits (Free HMO Dental)<li>Excellent life insurance policy<li>Company car potential</ul><p>Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 Per Year
