Position Title: Dental Financial Coordinator
Reports To: Office Manager

We’re looking for a Dental Financial Coordinator who can blend professionalism with compassion, helping patients understand their treatment plans, navigate payment options, and feel confident about their investment in their health.
Role Overview
The Dental Financial Coordinator ensures that patients leave our office with clarity on their treatment, confidence in their financial arrangements, and excitement for their next visit. This role combines check-out and scheduling duties with the financial and operational expertise needed to help the practice meet daily goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Patient Check-Out & Scheduling – Guide patients through their check-out process, schedule upcoming appointments, and ensure follow-ups are booked.
• Treatment Plan Presentation – Clearly explain treatment plans, associated costs, and payment options in a way that builds trust and encourages follow-through.
• Financial Management – Post daily payments, verify payment confirmations, and reconcile end-of-day (EOD) reports.
• Chart Audits – Review patient records for accuracy and completeness.
• Production & Scheduling Goals – Monitor and work unscheduled treatment reports to fill the doctor’s schedule, helping the team reach daily and monthly production goals.
• Collections & Prepayments – Ensure payments are made prior to treatment and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Provider Goal Tracking – Track and communicate progress toward daily provider goals to keep the team motivated and focused.
• Patient Experience – Provide a positive, empathetic, and informative financial experience to every patient.
• Monitor schedules for patient balances.
• Utilize Jarvis and Dentrix for accuracy of reports
• Assure Super Health, New Patients an IV Sedation folders are prepared and handed to the patient or guardian upon discussing Financials.
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of dental office experience, preferably in a financial or treatment coordinator role.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, insurance, and payment processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with practice management software and financial systems.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
