In this active role, you’ll perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, renovate and enhance landscape beds, and take part in beautification projects across the city. Join us to make a positive impact on the spaces that serve our community every day!</strong></div><div data-empty="true" style="text-align: center;"><br></div><br><br><br><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt;" data-pasted="true"><li>Performs landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming, weeding, applying mulch, fertilizing, watering, and applying pesticide products. <br><br></li><li>Participates in landscape renovation and enhancement projects from start to finish, and maintains these installations afterwards. <br><br></li><li>Installs new trees, shrubs, flowering plants, ornamental grasses, and groundcovers in places such as parks, venues, and city gateway signs.<br><br></li><li>Provides customer service to the public by providing information as requested and ensuring the security of guests.<br><br></li><li>All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division.<br><br></li><li>Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality for the assigned work hours is essential.</li></ul>Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:<br data-pasted="true"><br><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt;"><li><strong>Education:</strong> Work requires the ability to read and understand written instructions, to understand simple processes and the routine operation of machines.
