Lead Educator and Assistant Educator

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dallas, TX, for a Lead Educator and Assistant Educator at Kiddie Academy of Mercer Crossing.

The Lead Educator will oversee the planning and implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans, foster a nurturing learning environment, and support the professional development of junior staff.

The Assistant Educator will work with the Lead Educator to provide instruction, assist with classroom management, and ensure the safety and well-being of children. Both roles require collaboration with colleagues and clear communication with families to support each child’s individual learning journey.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Lesson Planning, Teaching, and Training to effectively guide and support children’s educational growth.
• Proficiency in Communication and Education to foster collaboration with families, children, and colleagues.
• Experience in creating and maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Ability to work well within a team and build constructive relationships with co-educators and parents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered for the Assistant Educator role.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing the potential in every child.
