Progressive Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legendador de Vídeos (Video Subtitle Creator) to join our dynamic freelance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate, well-timed subtitles for YouTube videos, enhancing viewer engagement and accessibility for a diverse audience. This role requires fluency in multiple languages (preferably Portuguese and English), a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe and translate spoken content from videos into subtitles with proper timing and synchronization.
Edit and proofread subtitles to ensure clarity, correctness, and consistency.
Collaborate with content creators and project managers to understand video context and audience needs.
Adapt subtitles to fit cultural nuances and maintain natural flow.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality subtitles.
Stay updated on YouTube subtitle guidelines and best practices for accessibility.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve subtitle quality and viewer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in subtitling, captioning, or related linguistic roles, especially for YouTube or digital media platforms.
