Local Contract Nurse RN – Vascular Access – $29-41 per hour

Job Summary Local Contract Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Vascular Access within Kansas City, Kansas. The role requires inserting and monitoring PICC lines, Midline catheters, and peripheral IV catheters, often with ultrasound guidance, while providing patient care and educating staff. Key Details Specialty: Vascular Access Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN) Duration: 52 weeks Hours: 40 per week Shift: 12‑hour days and evenings, flexible Employment Type: Local Contract Key Responsibilities Insert and monitor PICC, Midline, and peripheral IV catheters. Allocate efficient use of available resources. Provide routine staff and facility education. Establish excellent rapport and working relationships with all customers, both internally and externally. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school. State RN licensure (active). Minimum 1 year of RN work experience. Willing to train Critical Care, ED, PACU, OR RNs with 1‑year experience. BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS certification required within 60 days.
