Position Overview
Red Diamond Freight is seeking experienced CDL A Owner Operators to haul frac sand throughout West Texas oilfield operations. Drivers will transport sand to well sites using hopper bottom trailers within a regional operating area.
This is a dedicated oilfield hauling opportunity designed for Owner Operators with their own tractors who are looking for consistent West Texas sand work and strong weekly revenue potential.
Hopper bottom trailers are provided through a weekly rental program.
Key Responsibilities
Transport frac sand to well sites throughout West Texas
Operate safely in oilfield and industrial environments
Complete regional deliveries within a 10–110 mile operating radius
Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
Maintain accurate logs and transportation paperwork
Communicate professionally with dispatch and field personnel
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily
Compensation & Schedule
Average gross pay: $6,000 – $7,500 weekly
Paid weekly
88% of load revenue
Dedicated frac sand hauling work
Average 100–600 miles per week
No driver load/unload responsibilities
3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off rotation
Opportunity to stay out longer if desired
Home at least 2 weekends per month
Equipment Requirements
Owner Operators must provide their own tractor (Power Only)
Hopper bottom trailers supplied through weekly rental
Drivers are responsible for travel and lodging expenses
Orientation is unpaid
Work Environment
West Texas oilfield and frac operations
Regional driving within active drilling and completion areas
Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Heavy industrial transportation environment
