<p><b>PROGRAM & BUSINESS CONTROLLING MANAGER EMEA WEST</b></p><p><b>VP GM REGIONAL SUPPORT – CARE DELIVERY INTERNATIONAL</b></p><p></p><p><b><u>ROLE PURPOSE</u></b></p><p>The role provides <b>regional-level project management & business controlling support</b> to the Vice President General Managers (VP GMs).<br>It acts as an <b>integration and coordination function</b> between VP GMs, country organizations, and enabling and global functions, supporting the execution of strategic and operational initiatives across the Region in line with Care Delivery International (CDI) objectives.</p><p>The position contributes to driving <b>organic growth, operational efficiency, performance transparency, and execution discipline</b>, while ensuring full alignment with Fresenius Medical Care governance, quality, and compliance standards.</p><p></p><p><b><u>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</u></b></p><p></p><p><b>1. Regional Coordination & VP GM Support</b></p><ul><li><p>Act as a <b>regional coordination role</b>, cooperating with approximately 10 countries to align activities between VP GMs, country organizations, and enabling and global functions at regional and global level.</p></li><li><p>Support VP GMs in structuring, coordinating, and following up on regional initiatives and priorities, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives.</p></li><li><p>Provide support to VP GMs, including preparation, implementation, and follow-up of management meetings, ensuring efficiency, confidentiality, and effective execution.</p></li><li><p>Support the creation of <b>presentations, reports, and communication materials</b> for VP GMs, contributing to clear, consistent, and decision-oriented management communication.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">office-management-related</span> activities, including meeting structures and document / SharePoint management.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>2. Project Management & CDI Initiative Support</b></p><ul><li><p>Support the implementation of strategic and operational initiatives aimed at driving organic growth, improving operational efficiency, enhancing patient experience, and supporting the development of CDI countries in the Region.</p></li><li><p>Establish and manage assigned regional projects, including planning, organization, initiation, execution, monitoring, communication, and closure.</p></li><li><p>Support VP GMs in the execution of business-critical and cross-functional initiatives</p></li><li><p>Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with the expected outcomes, providing structured follow-up and transparency.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>3. Business Controlling & Performance Support</b></p><ul><li><p>Regularly review the effectiveness of operations at regional level in collaboration with Finance Controllers, consolidating inputs from countries to support VP GM decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Propose fact-based improvement options to enhance operational efficiency and profit generation, while safeguarding quality, compliance, and patient care standards.</p></li><li><p>Prepare supporting analyses and calculations to contribute to discussions and negotiations with Health Insurance Companies (HICs), particularly related to reimbursement development.</p></li><li><p>Provide integrated management insights by consolidating operational and financial data across countries into coherent regional views.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>4. Operational Alignment, Standards & Compliance (Regional Scope)</b></p><ul><li><p>Support operational coordination of the CDI function by ensuring alignment of country activities with regional strategic objectives defined by VP GMs.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to regional oversight on quality, legal, and compliance-related topics, ensuring alignment with Fresenius Medical Care policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.</p></li><li><p>Support transparency and alignment on structural operational parameters (e.g. staffing ratio concepts), without assuming direct operational or line management responsibility.</p></li><li><p>Enable consistent application of centrally provided standards, tools, and methodologies across countries.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>5. Process Improvement, Knowledge Sharing & Capability Support</b></p><ul><li><p>Support the identification and coordination of <b>process and workflow improvement opportunities</b> across the Region, in line with CDI and VP GM priorities.</p></li><li><p>Promote <b>experience sharing and best-practice exchange</b> between countries and functions.</p></li><li><p>Provide support and guidance related to <b>project management, operational excellence, and business processes</b>, in cooperation with CDI and enabling functions.</p></li><li><p>Foster collaboration and alignment across organizational boundaries.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>6. Governance, Quality & Compliance</b></p><ul><li><p>Ensure all activities comply with <b>Fresenius Medical Care policies, procedures, guidelines, manuals, and SOPs</b>.</p></li><li><p>Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational discipline.</p></li><li><p>Support structured documentation, reporting, and follow-up to ensure transparency and reliability of regional initiatives.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Key Performance Indicators</u></b></p><p><b>VP GM Decision Support Quality & Timeliness</b></p><ul><li><p>Decision-support materials (analyses, presentations, business cases) are consistently delivered on time, accurate, and decision-oriented.</p></li><li><p>VP GMs confirm that materials effectively support strategic and operational decision-making.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Regional Coordination & Integration Effectiveness</b></p><ul><li><p>Regional initiatives are executed in a coordinated manner across countries and enabling/global functions, with clear ownership, alignment, and documented follow-up.</p></li><li><p>Misalignment or rework due to coordination gaps is promptly identified and addressed.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Execution Discipline of Regional Initiatives</b></p><ul><li><p>Regional initiatives and projects are managed according to agreed governance, scope, and timelines.</p></li><li><p>Risks, dependencies, and deviations are transparently tracked, escalated, and resolved.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Performance Transparency & Insight Quality</b></p><ul><li><p>Regional performance reporting is timely, reliable, and consistent, providing clear insights into trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Reports and analyses are accepted by VP GMs and Finance as a sound basis for decision-making.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Governance, Compliance & Professional Standards</b></p><ul><li><p>All activities are conducted in full compliance with FMC policies, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements.</p></li><li><p>Documentation, reporting, and stakeholder interactions reflect high professional standards and governance discipline.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>REQUIREMENTS</u></b></p><ul><li><p>5–8 years of professional experience in project management, business controlling, business operations, or strategy/consulting, preferably in an international or matrix organization.</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational and coordination skills, with a structured, reliable, and efficient working style.</p></li><li><p>Solid analytical capabilities, with the ability to prepare clear, decision-oriented analyses and management materials.</p></li><li><p>High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion, including the ability to handle confidential information.</p></li><li><p>Proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with strong ownership and follow-through.</p></li><li><p>Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across organizational and cultural boundaries.</p></li><li><p>Open-minded, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.</p></li><li><p>Basic understanding of the healthcare services industry is a plus; dialysis experience is an asset but not required.</p></li><li><p>Fluent in English and the local country language; additional languages are an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel within the Region as required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><i>We carefully and respectfully consider all applications, including those from individuals with disabilities (law 68/99).</i></p><p><i>We are committed to providing an inclusive work environment and, where needed, offering reasonable accommodations to ensure all candidates can participate in the selection process and, subsequently, perform their role.</i></p><p></p><p></p>
