MARN, Inc. ( is a woman-owned manufacturers' sales representative firm. We are a small company based in Connecticut, with a sales territory that includes New England and Pennsylvania.
We are looking to fill 1 or 2 part-time positions, with candidates looking for a long-term opportunity with MARN - we currently need help with both data entry & processing and sales development.

ALL new positions @ MARN start with data entry @ 15-20 hrs per week (may be slightly less during initial training) with options for more hours in the future. We're looking for people who want to stay and/or grow with us.
The positions are remote, but we are only considering applicants who reside (live) within our sales territory, and are available to work their hours M-F 8am-5pm eastern. Our strong preference is to hire someone from Pennsylvania or New Hampshire (however we'd consider a strong applicant from Maryland or Delaware as our territory recently expanded.)
This is a LONG-TERM, remote (work from home) opportunity with room for growth and additional responsibilities, especially for someone able to transition to a hybrid role in the future (partly remote with some office/travel time) - MARN has a strong promote from within culture. We all like each other and want to keep it that way - we are looking to establish a relationship as much as we are looking to fill our current job opening(s).

It's important to note that Health Insurance is currently *NOT* available through MARN.
A typical day includes entering information (such as quote requests, new companies and/or contacts, incoming purchase-orders, etc.) into our database IN REAL TIME. Keeping the information current (updating job titles, quote/shipment statuses, etc.) is part of this job, along with sending emails and/or calling our manufacturers during normal business hours (M-F 8am-5pm eastern time.)

Applicants need an up-to-date computer and to maintain active anti-virus software.

VPN is required if/when work is done on a public network.
