Position Overview
We’re seeking a talented Hybrid Skincare Esthetician & Salon Receptionist—a professional who loves both the art of skincare and the energy of guest interaction.
This dual role allows you to combine hands-on facial services with front desk excellence, ensuring our guests receive a seamless experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave glowing.
You’ll perform high-quality facial services (and other licensed treatments) while also supporting guest relations at the front desk—booking appointments, managing communications, and maintaining a warm, professional presence that reflects our studio’s standards.
What You’ll Do As a Licensed Esthetician
Perform customized facials, peels, and skincare treatments according to Glow Up Studio protocols and brand standards.
Conduct consultations, analyze skin concerns, and recommend personalized skincare and service plans.
Educate clients on aftercare routines and home skincare products.
Maintain the highest sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.
Support marketing and content initiatives by participating in video, photo, and social media campaigns (as applicable).
Uphold a professional appearance and deliver 5-star guest experiences at every touchpoint.
As a Guest Relations Specialist
Greet every guest warmly and set a welcoming tone for their visit.
Manage the front desk: check guests in/out, process payments, and handle phone, text, and email inquiries.
Schedule and confirm appointments using our advanced booking platform.
Recommend enhancements, upgrades, and retail products to elevate each visit.
Share information about new services, memberships, and promotions.
Keep the reception and retail areas organized, stocked, and inviting.
Support the team with light administrative and operational tasks during downtime.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Texas Esthetician or Cosmetology License (Lash Extension–Only license not accepted)
2–3 years of hands-on experience providing facials and beauty services (lash lifts, brow laminations, tints, waxing) in a spa or salon environment
2 years of experience in front desk, guest relations, or customer service (beauty or spa setting preferred)
Bonus: 3+ years of Lash Extensions experience
Strong proficiency with facials and ideally Hydrafacials, dermabrasion, and dermaplaning
Excellent communication and multitasking skills; comfortable managing bookings and performing services
Confidence with consultations, customization, aftercare education, and upselling services and products
Professional appearance, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude
Availability for evening and weekend shifts (based on guest demand)
