TIG Welder/Fabricator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience with TIG welding processes and working with stainless steel.

Shift: Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:00pm

Duties

• Perform TIG welding on various materials, primarily stainless steel, ensuring high-quality welds the meet industry standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively to complete fabrication tasks
• Measure and mark dimensions on metal using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring instruments
• Conduct assembly of metal components and structures using various types of hardware per project specifications
• Operate forklifts safely to move materials around the warehouse
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding techniques is required
• Ability to perform TIG welding on various metals but primarily stainless steel
• Familiarity with Miller welders
• Familiarity with fabrication processes
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools accurately
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics in order to execute projects to completion
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of ASME codes and standards related to welding practices is a plus

• Pay starting at $18-22 per hour based on experience
