Worship Director

Overview The Worship Director will lead all aspects of the worship culture at Vibrant Church. This includes crafting presence-driven worship experiences, developing teams, pastoring volunteers, and helping create an atmosphere where people can encounter God and feel at home.

This role is perfect for someone who is musically gifted, spiritually mature, relationally strong, and passionate about building a team comprised of diverse people and skill levels.

Weekend Worship

Leadership

• Lead engaging, Spirit-filled, contemporary worship for Sunday services.
• Select songs that align with Vibrant's voice, theology, and culture.
• Run rehearsals, prepare arrangements, and cultivate excellence with humility.
• Collaborate with Teaching Pastor, Production Director, and Service Producer to build seamless, impactful weekend experiences.

• Recruit, onboard, train, and pastor worship team members (band & vocals).
• Create a culture where volunteers feel valued, equipped, and developed.
• Provide ongoing coaching, spiritual encouragement, and skill development.
• Champion diversity - reflecting the heart of South Florida in our teams.

• Partner with leadership on planning worship sets, special elements, and seasonal services (Easter, Christmas, At The Movies, etc.).
• Work with the Creative/Production Teams to ensure high-quality audio, lighting, and stage environments.
• Help shape the sound, tone, and creative direction of Vibrant's worship identity.

• Manage scheduling for worship volunteers through Planning Center.
• Maintain chord charts, tracks, rehearsal files, and weekly planning tools.
• Coordinate with AVL team to ensure gear is cared for and systems are working efficiently.
• Plan and execute team nights, auditions, and development track for new musicians.

• Strong vocal ability and instrumental proficiency (guitar or keys preferred).
• Experience leading worship teams in a contemporary church setting.
• Competence with Planning Center, MultiTracks/Playback, click/tracks, and modern worship technologies.
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire volunteers of varying skill levels.
• Strong sense of musical direction, arrangement, and flow.
